Sleepy Saturday!
I don't know a better feeling than waking up to the nice, steady sound of rain when you realize you don't have to get out and drive to work--you can just lie back down and relax!!! Believe it or not, I am enjoying the rainy day today! Zi and I are just relaxing on the couch watching it fall out the back window!
We have the nursery ALMOST finished! Mom Lyle & Clint painted it on Monday & Tuesday! We are waiting on Momma to finish up the bed skirt & curtain & then it will be totally 100% complete! I will make sure to post pictures when that happens. =) On Tuesday my doctor told us that we can be expecting our little Blakely June 1st, SO we have one less week to get things in order--& you know me, I'm all about order! We officially decided on a middle name- Blakely Ann. Not only is Ann Mimi's middle name and Memaw's name, but it also means "favored grace." All of those things just made it perfect for our little girl! God does have favored grace on her and the blessing that she is in our lives! I already love her SO much it is unbelievable!
Well, we went out to dinner last night with our neighbors, Darrell & Sharmin. For the first time in my life I ATE SUSHI! & actually LIKED it...A LOT! I was really thinking I would hate it, but with an open mind I tried it! Sharmin is expected to deliver any day now--so Blakely will have Elizabeth Gray to play with and also Sophia! What a lucky little one!
Well, I guess that's it for today! Off to clean, make my first leash for 1stopk9shop & maybe a few tutus =). Later Zizi is going to Grand & Mimi's house to play with her best friend Cali!

SPRING
Yay! Spring--well it feels more like summer already! Ha--guess thats what you get here in Alabama! I cannot believe how hot little Blakely makes me! It really does amaze me seeing how I am one of the coldest natured people alive. I can't complain though--I LOVE THE SUNSHINE & would take heat over cold, rain anyday!
I just got back from my lovely Dr. Visit--now bi weekly! It was delightful! Only one more & then I get to go see Dr. Sharp every single week for 4 weeks! Fun times!!! I got to take a nap today while I waited on him =) Normally I drag Clint along for my sheer entertainment & selfishness, but today I went alone & decided to make some good use of my time waiting! It was really neat at this visit though because I got to actually feel her heartbeat. Dr. Sharp put up his little contraption that makes the heart beat vibration & I got to feel it!!!
We had such a fun weekend! Easter was at my house this year! I got to host my first meal & use my china for the first time since my wedding. Clint's Birthday was yesterday & we had a ball!!! Zizi wasn't really a fan of the balloons & streamers--I mean REALLY didn't like it. She wouldn't even EAT. Which is HUGE for Zi! But I will say she got better as the day went on. I also planted an Easter Lilly out front. I'm definitly not my mother in the gardening world but I did as mom told me and prayed over my little addition, so I'm hoping she will not die! I am going to plant some daylillies too once Mom splits hers!

Kicks & Squirms
Okay, I just THOUGHT that I was feeling Blakely in the weeks past! Last night Clint & I were having a relaxing movie night (watching Up in the Air--which was actually pretty good--MUCH better than anything else we have seen lately). Anyways-it is so hard for me to stay on track-She was kicking so hard that Clint felt her!!! It was so exciting! She was extremely active! It might have been the strawberry ice cream that I talked him into on the way home =). She squirmed the entire movie! It is amazing how much I love her & she hasn't even entered the world yet!!!
So today is going to be a spring cleaning day--although it sure doesn't feel like spring this weekend =(. Our main goal-or MY main goal-is to make closet room for the little one! Yes, Clint does actually help around the house-he is always really good about constantly asking & trying to do things-BUT really organizing & cleaning is an obsessive/compulsive struggle of mine! So-probably going to be attempting this one on my own!
I am also going to drag him to a couple of craft stores today! I got in a whole shipment of confetti last week and I am dying to make some new "creations". I will be making a whole line of Halloween, 4th of July, Christmas, Auburn, Alabama, & some other fun ones! Also, I don't think that I've mentioned before that I have another etsy site: etsy.com/shop/1stopk9shop--I've only sold 4 on there but a bunch more at my work! Zizi now has approximately 35 collars now! She gets so excited when I am at the sewing machine. Honestly I think it is because she knows the camera will eventually come out! You see she has this weird Fixation/OBSESSION with the light that shines out of our camera! Look below for some pics of our sweet zizi in her much loved collars!

Sugar Test & Finger Pricks...
Fun day today...Went to the Dr. for my 28 week sugar test & the nurse pricked my finger TWICE! I should back up and tell you my fear of needles...NOT A FAN! Anyways, I am feeling lots better now that I officially passed my sugar test--which means...I don't have diabetes! Everything is looking great!!!
This weekend Clint & I celebrated out 1 year anniversary! Who knew we would be happily awaiting our little girl just one year after our wedding day! God's plans are amazing!
We are one of the few couples that actually ate our year old wedding cake & let me just tell you it was DELICIOUS! Serioulsy tasted better than the first time around!
Not much else is going on in our lives! We are just soaking in these last few months of our baby growing inside me! Til Next Time! BYE!

Blakely!
We are at 26 weeks & have finally decided on a name for our precious junebug!!! We are so excited to know for sure! I am now in the process of getting her room ready! Last Thursday I got to go to Asbury Methodist Church to a consignment sale & found such GREAT deals! I got her a changing table & pad, changing pad covers, an exersaucer, a night light, a mobile, highchair, summer hats and SO much more!!! I am super excited to finally have some real baby stuff--it makes it real!
She is really moving around these days! It feels so neat! I don't even know how to describe it in words. I often feel her in the afternoon & at night!
As for my tutus-they are really coming along! I am having lots of fun creating them! They are officially up and for sale on etsy as of a couple of weeks ago & I already sold one! I am also making dog collars & dog tutus! I have sold 2 of those thus far!

Saturday!!!
What a wonderful feeling--to wake up thinking "I'm gonna be late" & suddenly remember...OH YEAH, it's SATURDAY! Ahhhh, absolutely nothing like it--especially in the yucky rain that never seems to pass us in these cold winter months! SPRING-Where are you?!?
I am feeling so great now! As if I'm not pregnant at all! I'm going to bed at normal hours & feeling rested when I wake up! No nausea!!! & most importantly NO MIGRANES! Whew, there for a couple of weeks it sure was rough!
Currently I am trying to get my little "at home" business started! I am in the process of making tutus for little girls & cute dog collars for the pups! I am trying my best to figure it all out! It sure does get overwhelming at times! I will post pictures later of the tutus & give updates of how they are doing-once they finally get posted!
We went out to eat at California Pizza Kitchen last night with Alli & Jay & little Elizabeth Gray! SO excited to see that she was content & happy THE ENTIRE NIGHT! This gives us so much hope!!! There for the first couple of months the little angel sure did cry! This really made Clint & me super anxious but seeing her now--I can make it! She is growing super fast! It is incredible to watch. I saw her last Friday & then last night I could promise she grew TONS! She is absolutely precious though!!! I wish I had thought to take some lovely pictures - but it slipped my mind, as does everything these days!!!
Well, that's it for now--I gotta get ready for my tutu photo shoot =)
