We had a good day in spite of the hot hot hot weather. Humidity is what made it unbearable. I made outdoor plans for the day which quickly had to be dismissed due to the wet, hot weather! Still, the kiddos knew it was the 4th and had a little lesson about our country and our freedom and how lucky we are. They were really excited about fireworks (which we didn't make...ooops). B woke up the next morning and asked if we missed them. I felt bad, but these guys were so very tired! Maybe next year. Definitely next year!!!
