Kicks & Squirms

Okay, I just THOUGHT that I was feeling Blakely in the weeks past! Last night Clint & I were having a relaxing movie night (watching Up in the Air--which was actually pretty good--MUCH better than anything else we have seen lately). Anyways-it is so hard for me to stay on track-She was kicking so hard that Clint felt her!!! It was so exciting! She was extremely active! It might have been the strawberry ice cream that I talked him into on the way home =). She squirmed the entire movie! It is amazing how much I love her & she hasn't even entered the world yet!!!

So today is going to be a spring cleaning day--although it sure doesn't feel like spring this weekend =(. Our main goal-or MY main goal-is to make closet room for the little one! Yes, Clint does actually help around the house-he is always really good about constantly asking & trying to do things-BUT really organizing & cleaning is an obsessive/compulsive struggle of mine! So-probably going to be attempting this one on my own!

I am also going to drag him to a couple of craft stores today! I got in a whole shipment of confetti last week and I am dying to make some new "creations". I will be making a whole line of Halloween, 4th of July, Christmas, Auburn, Alabama, & some other fun ones! Also, I don't think that I've mentioned before that I have another etsy site: etsy.com/shop/1stopk9shop--I've only sold 4 on there but a bunch more at my work! Zizi now has approximately 35 collars now! She gets so excited when I am at the sewing machine. Honestly I think it is because she knows the camera will eventually come out! You see she has this weird Fixation/OBSESSION with the light that shines out of our camera! Look below for some pics of our sweet zizi in her much loved collars!

Sugar Test & Finger Pricks...

Fun day today...Went to the Dr. for my 28 week sugar test & the nurse pricked my finger TWICE! I should back up and tell you my fear of needles...NOT A FAN! Anyways, I am feeling lots better now that I officially passed my sugar test--which means...I don't have diabetes! Everything is looking great!!!

This weekend Clint & I celebrated out 1 year anniversary! Who knew we would be happily awaiting our little girl just one year after our wedding day! God's plans are amazing!
We are one of the few couples that actually ate our year old wedding cake & let me just tell you it was DELICIOUS! Serioulsy tasted better than the first time around!

Not much else is going on in our lives! We are just soaking in these last few months of our baby growing inside me! Til Next Time! BYE!

Blakely!

We are at 26 weeks & have finally decided on a name for our precious junebug!!! We are so excited to know for sure! I am now in the process of getting her room ready! Last Thursday I got to go to Asbury Methodist Church to a consignment sale & found such GREAT deals! I got her a changing table & pad, changing pad covers, an exersaucer, a night light, a mobile, highchair, summer hats and SO much more!!! I am super excited to finally have some real baby stuff--it makes it real!

She is really moving around these days! It feels so neat! I don't even know how to describe it in words. I often feel her in the afternoon & at night!

As for my tutus-they are really coming along! I am having lots of fun creating them! They are officially up and for sale on etsy as of a couple of weeks ago & I already sold one! I am also making dog collars & dog tutus! I have sold 2 of those thus far!

Saturday!!!

What a wonderful feeling--to wake up thinking "I'm gonna be late" & suddenly remember...OH YEAH, it's SATURDAY! Ahhhh, absolutely nothing like it--especially in the yucky rain that never seems to pass us in these cold winter months! SPRING-Where are you?!?

I am feeling so great now! As if I'm not pregnant at all! I'm going to bed at normal hours & feeling rested when I wake up! No nausea!!! & most importantly NO MIGRANES! Whew, there for a couple of weeks it sure was rough!

Currently I am trying to get my little "at home" business started! I am in the process of making tutus for little girls & cute dog collars for the pups! I am trying my best to figure it all out! It sure does get overwhelming at times! I will post pictures later of the tutus & give updates of how they are doing-once they finally get posted!

We went out to eat at California Pizza Kitchen last night with Alli & Jay & little Elizabeth Gray! SO excited to see that she was content & happy THE ENTIRE NIGHT! This gives us so much hope!!! There for the first couple of months the little angel sure did cry! This really made Clint & me super anxious but seeing her now--I can make it! She is growing super fast! It is incredible to watch. I saw her last Friday & then last night I could promise she grew TONS! She is absolutely precious though!!! I wish I had thought to take some lovely pictures - but it slipped my mind, as does everything these days!!!

Well, that's it for now--I gotta get ready for my tutu photo shoot =)

IT'S A GIRL!

Whooo Hoooo! It's a Girl!
We got to see little peanut opening & closing her little mouth! We actually got a video of her! She is very active, currently breech--her little head is above my belly button & her feet are straight down. She looks completely healthy! THANK YOU GOD!

We came home and told little Zi about having a little sister to play with...she is VERY excited! Guess we will try and get the room together now!

One More Day!

Tomorrow is the exciting day! We get to finally find out what little peanut is! We are thrilled! Zizi even knows something is up! She keeps sniffing my belly (probably because we keep saying--Zi come here and see--what's in there?!?) She is very curious!

Anyways, tomorrow at 3 we will have our 2nd ultrasound and even get a video of what our little one is doing! So EXCITING!

Nothing too unbelievable has been happening around here lately. Still waiting to see God's wonderful plan for our lives! I will write back tomorrow with some good news!

Drum Roll Please...

I am so excited to start my new blog!  If only I had been motivated upon graduating college, getting engaged, planning our wedding...I am sad to admit that most of those memories have already escaped me.  So heres to attempting to capture some of our life in words and pictures--so my little "junebug" along with Clint and myself could have a prayer of remembering these days that seem to just fly right by!

Monday we are going to find out whether peanut is a SHE or a HE! WE CANNOT WAIT! We will be thrilled either way--All I pray for is health! I am finally staying up past 7 again--seriously, I went to bed there for about 2 months around 7 & sometimes (lots of times) even earlier. I actually have been catching my Zzzzs starting around 11 the past few nights which is HUGE! It sure does take a lot to grow those fingers & toes inside me =)

Zizi is loving Elizabeth Gray so I think she will do wonders around a friend of her own. She constantly licks Elizabeth Gray in the face. Alli is getting use to it now--guess I didn't give her much of a choice. We keep telling her that I am cooking one for her to play with--Guess she will find out soon enough!

I will be checking back in soon! Gotta get back to making my Tutus--how I love making stuff!!! Oh and can I just mention how FREEZING cold it is today! Whew!
