Sunday Snapshots-Out To Eat!

After going to church today, we went out to eat with Blakely at the Cheesecake Factory! She did wonderful!!! Glad to know that we can now take her places & she will do okay! =)

Watch Me Grow-3 Months Today!!!

I cannot believe we are officially at that 3 month mark! She sure is hitting that "magic moment" that everyone keeps referring to! She is constantly smiling & looking around.  So much more aware than even last week! Here are a few shots of her in her 'watch me grow' onesies:

                

3 Month Stat Update:

*Weight: Right at 13 Pounds!

*Length: 24.5"

*We are in Size 1-2 Diapers

*Wearing Size 3-6 Months & even some 6-9 Months!

*Sleeping Patterns: Bedtime around 9:30 & usually waking around 7:00-What a wonderful baby!!!

Normally naps fall after eating & play time (they usually last around an hour!)

*Eating 6 oz, 5 times a day--we are now using the level 2 nipples & downing a bottle in less than 15 minutes-Wa-hoo!!!

We are Loving:

1. Our Crib Aquarium-I have never seen such amazement from you- you seriously love that thing! Now if I could just get it to stay on for more than 2 minutes
2. Daddy's voice & attention from him-Man can he make you smile!
3. Mr. Pappy-Not happy until you get him!
4. Walks in my Baby Carrier-Half the time you are constantly looking around & the other half you are fast asleep
5. Mimi, Gran, Kaki, and Wolfie-They get more smiles than anyone else
6. Your Noah & Jonah Board Book (because they rhyme) -you stare and talk throughout the whole thing with a huge smile on your face.  You don't do this to any other book... (You must love God already) =)
7. Airplane - being positioned on your tummy on my legs, looking down at me
8. Your Mirror and Wedge- you are so fascinated with the mirror! You love to look at yourself
9. You are still liking your bouncer (when I am constantly bouncing you & swing-not loving them but you tolerate them for a little while!
10. Baths-if you are fed
11. Car Rides-they put you right to sleep-along with the stroller!

We are Not Liking:

1. Zizi's kisses-I think they are a little much for you!
2. Being cold-when Daddy came home last weekend the temp went down in the house & I got some lovely wake up calls at 2 & 3 in the AM and never calmed down through out those nights.
3. Baths-if you are hungry
4. Waking up when I am not holding you...Spoiled much

One quick thing: You are such a happy baby! We are absolutely so blessed! God sure knew what he was doing when He created such a perfect creation for our family.  I love you so very much & cannot believe the time is flying so fast!!! I'm so lucky to have this wonderful blog to capture all our memories!

A Visit from Mema & Mimi

What a great day! I got the pleasure of Mimi & Mema coming for a visit to our house today! I had to take poor Zizi to the vet for a quick visit so they came over to help me out! Blakely sure did love it! =)

Church At Last!

Clint & I were so excited to get to go to Church today! I never realized just how much I needed that fellowship until we had little Blakely & had to stay at home Sunday after Sunday! For the first time, I craved to be there and hear God's word and sing such wonderful praise songs. Needless to say, I had such a wonderful time & Blakely did to so it seems! Thanks to Mimi Blakely had an adorable new little dress to wear & stole the show when she went to 'Sunday School'.

After church we played a bit.  Can you believe she is already playing in her exersaucer?!?  We tested it out and she LOVED it!!! I can't wait for the Jumperoo!

That's it for today! Blakely turns 3 months old on Wednesday-So hard to believe! 

Best $20 Spent EVER

Soooo, I have really been wanting one of those Baby Borne carriers since Blakely was born.  We have jealously watched the neighbors walk around with theirs. They are just so expensive though! It is super hard to go walking with both the baby and Zizi & shopping is pretty much impossible-well, not anymore! This is the imitation 'baby borne' & was $20 at Buy Buy Baby with my coupons! We are so excited! I was skeptical at first but we used it all day today & it worked great! So thank you fake Baby Borne for making my life more enjoyable.

Today was our official first outting just the two of us.  We went to the bank & then to the baby store.  Blakely did so great.  She didn't cry once!

We have been having a wonderful week this week! We are really missing Dad though-it is super weird him being gone after always being here...We will pull though. Happy Hump Day!!!

Sunday Snapshots

What a difference one week makes in such a tiny baby! Blakely really did grow so much.  She is now really smiling & interacting with us on a whole different level.  She took one huge step backwards last night though... Yours truly got up around 2 am and then again at 6am to feed-yuck!  We had a talkin to though & are hoping for the best tonight! =)

And Back To Reality...

Wow-what a fun trip!

Beautiful weather (except for that last day), not crowded at all, and extremely nice condo!
I must say though that we were so excited to get home to our two baby girls!!! Mimi and Gran were not so happy to see us come back though...

Zizi & Blakely were happy to get to see each other again!

Clint is leaving for Alpharetta tomorrow so we are soaking in as much 'family time' as we can!

Destin Here We Come!!!

It is official-we are leaving in the morning around 5 am! I CANNOT WAIT! I don't know what all I packed but good grief we sure did end up with a bazillion bags! I keep remembering stuff that we have left out too! We are going to have a blast.  Zi is at Gray's and we are taking the little bug to Mimi's birght & early in the AM!

1 day in counting...

I cannot believe we are actually getting to go to the beach!!! Monday morning could not come fast enough! Waves, breeze, sun--we will see you very soon!

We have slowly been packing now for about a week-I think I've almost got it all together.  Little Blakely is going to spend the week with Mimi & Zizi is going to Camp Gray Gray. Both are pretty excited when we tell them. =)

Well, I had a tear-jerking last day at the office on Friday...I am really going to miss my friends there.  They really did turn into an extended family to me!  Although really sad, I am really excited about the position I have taken as a Full Time stay at home Mommy.  Blakely-we are going to have SO much fun! I cannot wait to introduce you to all of the animals at the Zoo, show you the library & read you lots of fun books, go swing at the park, share in craft time together, and love on you all day long-every day! You are my heart & I love you so very much!

2 Month Check Up & Stat Update

Blakely did so great today visiting Dr. McCain! I on the other hand shed a few tears having to watch her get her shots...

Here are her stats:

• Weight: 11 pounds 7 oz-50%
• Length: 22.75"-50%
• Diapers: Size 1--very soon we will be in size 2
• Clothes: Just outgrowing our newborn clothes & into 3-6 months

We are typically now waking up every morning around 6:30 (AFTER SLEEPING THOUGH THE NIGHT!!!) & taking about 4-5 oz, & eating again at 10, 1, 4, 7, and 10...

We are wide awake after that first morning feeding, then napping between 10 & 1, awake from 4-7 & then napping from 7-10

We are LOVING:

1) Pappy

2) Mobile

3) Mr. Sleep Sheep

4) Crib Aquarium

5) Warm Wipes

6) Warm Baths

We are Hating:

1) Being changed for bedtime

2) Being bothered while sleeping

3) Being cold

4) Getting Shots =(

Gettin' so Big

I truly feel as though you have grown almost double from last weeks ‘Sunday Snapshots’ and this week! You have officially outgrown your adorable ‘newborn’ onesies/outfits.  Sad, but exciting! We love to watch you grow so healthy and strong!

Believe it or not, you slept in your crib last night for the first time.  I must admit, I cried myself to sleep.  I don’t really know why I cried so hard, I knew you were happy and totally fine-I just LOVE having you right there beside me.  We have been ‘meaning’ to start you sleeping in there for weeks but I just kept putting it off… Last night you began to cry at 11:00 and I had to get up at 5:00 for work, so we let your mobile and your sleep sheep sway you to sleep.  Works like a charm every time! =) You did so wonderful! Not a peep all night.  When I woke up, you were fast asleep- so peaceful!

You are such a happy little one! Your dad & I love to watch you smile at us both! We feel like you will be laughing at any point in the near future!

Tomorrow will be your 2 month old checkup at the Dr. & we are expecting lots of shots…I have your Tylenol ready though, so you won’t feel so terrible, I promise!
