Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we headed over for a day of fun at the Pumpkin Patch over in Springville. Blakely had so much fun!!! I wanted to go last year, but we never made it.

Here we were attempting a face paint (Hello Kitty) but after one stroke from the paint brush we decided NEVER MIND! I am still hearing 'no hello kitty on face'...must have traumatized her!

and then won a special prize-which was one of those stupid dum-dum suckers that I can't stand! I feel like I'm asking for her to choke!

the zoo

Mimi renewed our zoo membership this month so we took full advantage of it on Friday! Blakely had a blast (as always) The zoo might just be her favorite place in the world.

It's been a while since we have visited the petting zoo. She went through a stage of not loving it-but we are back to having fun petting everyone!

Can you believe this is my sweet girl same time last year (probably the same goat) =)

Crazy how much she has grown!

But back to Friday...

She LOVED this pig! She made funny noises trying to snort like him!

And Maximus the horse (like Tangled's horse if you aren't familiar)...She wanted to ride him but settled for a pat on his back.

She thought this little fella was HILARIOUS!

Made a new friend who she stalked for about 10 minutes...

Okay so when I saw this idea on Pinterest I knew Blakely would love it; I just didn't expect her to love it quite as much as she did! We turned out all the lights and she played for over an hour! I Found these glow sticks at Target in the dollar bins (they are EVERYWHERE because of Halloween) She was totally fascinated with her 'Tangled star wand'. I have no idea how she connected princesses to wands, or even that this was a wand...but somehow she did! I am not surprised that the wand belonged to Tangled however since she is totally and completely obsessed with Rapunzel these days.

Anyway, I know these pics are hard to see but I gave it my all (being that they were in the dark and all)
