Auburn Homecoming

We had such a great day visiting AU one last time before football season comes to a close. Blakely had such a good day. My entire family stayed together at the lake this weekend. There is something so peaceful about being at the lake on cooler days when there is no activity on the water and leaves have fallen everywhere. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures at the lake, but I did get a few while in Auburn.

This weekend was much more uneventful than last week. We just lounged around our house, took some long naps, watched a few movies, and watched Auburn WIN!!! 

Game Day at the Plains

This was Blakely's second time to Auburn (first time where I remembered my camera). I cannot put into words how much she loved every second of her day roaming around talking to everyone.

Mom and I made our way to the new sorority housing to try and stalk some Phi Mu's so we could take a peek at all the chapter room & rooms WE paid for but never got to see. (and by we, I mean MOM=)) Better luck next time I guess!

Waaaaaaar Eagle!

We were so lucky to get to go to the Homecoming game yesterday! We packed up the kids, took them to Mimi & Gran's and went our merry way to the good ole' plains of AU! This was (believe it or not) the first time both Clint and I have been together in Auburn since we got engaged! We loved walking around & just soaking in Auburn and its beauty.

Auburn brings such nostalgia to both of us! Now coming back-I was saddened that I didn't spend more time to actually soaking it all in when I was there.  I was too consumed with 'being stressed' to enjoy everything around me. If I only knew then what stress could feel like...

Anyways, we had a phenomenal time (to say the least).  Little B soon you will get to see the place daddy met mommy & fall in love with the beautiful place too!
