I have really been loving having an almost 2 year old and an almost 4 year old. Friends with two little ones close in age, let me encourage you... It gets easier. I am really starting to feel thankful for being able to stay at home with these two. For the longest time day to day stuff was just so hard I felt like it was a success to even get through each day. I now feel like I am able to enjoy each minute!
The picture below is from a fun day that we met Daddy for lunch! He is cramming a french fry into his mouth. Daddy has been known to do this from time to time and from what I hear, his Daddy as well. Must be a Lyle boy thing.
For me, nothing beats a trip to Target. I read an article just recently about Target and it describes me perfectly. I walk in to the dollar section and fill my cart with minimally 10 items that I desperately 'need'. The meander through the entire store only to end up with a $200.00 bill and without the original item I initially went in for. I love Target, but it sure does get me into trouble!Aren't Sundays just the best?!? I love love love Sundays. For us it is Church, Sunday School, a fun lunch out, rest-time/naps, a fun afternoon snack, the park, and breakfast for dinner.
Here we have a sleeping Daddy and his two girls.
The warmer days sure are putting me in my happy place.
and it seems to make this little girl just as happy!
Look how grown my little girl is!
Our Sunday snack outing at Sweet Frog. YUM.
The cold rain sure does warm my heart when I get to look at this sweet girl loving getting to use her umbrella, rain coat, and wellies!
I love morning snuggles with these two. I've been really trying to just slow my pace. For me, waking up between 5 and 5:30 gives me that ability. I don't feel rushed once my littles start waking up!I took Parker out for a breakfast date last week! It was is first taste of Krispy Kreme. He. LOVED. It.
I took a million pictures and so many of them really showed how special this little 'date' was…
We had such a blast.
Love my buddy.
Yet another day of beautiful warm sunny weather! My little 'bunny' loved laying out on this day!
Playdates at libraries are just the best! Parker man LOVES libraries. I have had to make it a weekly occurrence for him--sometimes we end up there twice or more in one week. They have so much more to do than just books! (although he does love the books!!!)And one last picture that accurately displays our day to day fun on our beloved screened in back porch. I am so so so thankful for this little blessing!
Staying at home with the kids is hard for some. Really, I totally understand where they are coming from. It is hard. Really hard. I just have been through so much that I have learned to cherish each and every day--no matter how many tantrums are thrown at me! These days are few and precious. I just treasure my ability to stay at home so much. Thank you Clint for all that you do. I love you.
