Playing at the Park

I love fall. It is my favorite season! It starts all the holiday cheer and chaos. It brings refreshing, beautiful weather. It is absolutely wonderful. We have been really soaking up our weekends with Daddy. We went to Spain park on Saturday and had a blast.

Saturday turned out to be absolutely beautiful! Allison did such an AMAZING job for our sweet little cousin's 2nd birthday. The theme: Hungry Little Caterpillar.

Such a perfect birthday party! Blakely had a blast riding around in Elle's new wagon. She literally threw a fit whenever you tried to get her away from it. I can tell the two of these girls are going to be besties!

Another day at the zoo

We were so excited to get to take Daddy to the zoo this Saturday! We didn't stay for that long, but loved every minute of seeing our favorite animals. The weather was perfect and the animals were all out. I have learned however to take advantage of going during the week. I have never seen the parking lot as crowded as it was! Apparently it is like that every weekend when there is great weather!

It doesn't get much better than family, celebrations and The Cheesecake Factory. Oh and ice cream cake doesn't hurt to bad either! Both Elle and Blakely did so great while eating! I should have gotten a few shots at the restaurant, but I didn't. Here are some of all of us (minus Uncle Gray-Gray) back at Mom & Dad's house.

16 Months

Whew, where did September go?!?

Here we are-16 months old. Blakely is growing to be such a smart little girl. She has the sweetest heart. Lately she has been loving to play dress up! She LOVES going through drawers-see exhibit A:

Blakely melts our heart these days. She doesn't fight you (for the most part) when you take things away from her...as long as you tell it 'bye bye'. She will repeat bye bye and move on to other things. She just recently got a bad boo boo on her knee and she LOVES pointing it out to you. Mommy has been kissing it all better and so every chance she gets she puckers those lips and kisses it herself. She often grabs my neck and draws me in for a big ole hug & sometimes puckers her lips for a kiss. She knows SO many 'b' words: ball, bath, bird, bucket, boo boo, boat, blue, book, bottle, bark, bee....

She just amazes me every single day. She knows many more words too but she sure does love those b words the most. When she wants you to tell her what something is she simply says 'biiii'.

We are down to one nap a day (if that...) I am really wishing that paci had gone away a couple of months ago when my gut told me to get rid of it. We are now SO attached to 'babby'. He makes EVERYTHING better. As for raffe, life simply would not go on without him.

This weekend was much more uneventful than last week. We just lounged around our house, took some long naps, watched a few movies, and watched Auburn WIN!!!
