8 Months Old

8 months old! WOW...

I know I say this every month but you are growing up SO so fast. You are still such a happy baby even though you have been sick most of this month. You have had a respiratory infection with a cough and it makes me so sad!  

You are loving the Christmas decorations everywhere. I just put up both trees and they seem to amaze you!

You are still wearing a size 4 diaper and 12 month clothes. Taking 28 oz a day (7 oz at 7,11,3, & 7) plus two meals of a fruit, veggie and rice. You still love to eat, however you are becoming pickier by the day. You now don't like bananas or green beans. Hopefully you won't be like your sister (I don't know if I can take two of you!)

You LOVE your bunny or really anything that you can snuggle up to. You are sucking your thumb regularly these days. You love to smack your lips and think it is hilarious. You are quite shy with people when they start to talk to you, you always turn into my shoulder and then peek back at them after a minute. 

As for sleeping-you take great naps now. One in the am, afternoon and late afternoon typically. I still don't really have you on any kind of schedule. Night time however has been really tough lately. Since you have gotten sick you wake up at least every hour coughing. I go in and check on you, cover you up and you turn over and go back to sleep. Recently you have been rolling on your tummy and it totally unnerves you! So when that has happened it takes a bit longer to calm you down and for you to go back to sleep. Still, no complaints since you are good to self soothe!

You have just this month gotten to where you can sit up by yourself. I know it must be hard since you weigh much more than the typical 8 month old. Speaking of-I have no idea how much you weigh or how tall you are! I'll have to get on that and see if we can come up with an estimate!

 You love Zizi and Blakely. Both of them can make you laugh more than anyone else in the world.

 and I'm pretty sure Zizi loves you too! =)

 You hum a lot these days. You get louder and louder when you are ready for bed.

 You are such a 'go with the flow' baby! I love that about you. We are typically rarely home for you to nap in your bed and you seem to be okay with that. Always happy to go!
