Parker's Nursery

I love the theme we decided on-nautical! Blakely loves these paintings. She will tell us over and over what each picture is. Her favorite when asked is the crab. 

 The alphabet is probably my favorite accent! LOVE THIS!

That's it! Now I gotta start really working on B's 'big girl' room. I already got an ADORABLE quilt so we are off to a good start. =)

Sprinkler Fun

This girl loves water. Kaki got this sprinkler last year when our girls weren't quite walking good yet-this year they don't ever stop!

 I long for the innocence of childhood. Just complete oblivion to real life problems and heartache.

 No worries of money, worry or stress...

 Just pure joy from the most simple pleasures.

 We sure can learn a thing or two from our children.

 Let's not forget to laugh sometimes, no matter how hard things are...

Fun in the SUN

We were amazed with the weather yesterday-sunny but surprisingly cool. Brian and Mimi ran to Target to pick up this baby pool so B would have something to play in. The water was FREEZING but both Brian and Blaklely toughed it out!

 I for one have loved all the extra time with Uncle Brian-pretty sure Blakely has loved it just as much! =)

 Zizi was one happy pup playing in the yard with her best friend Cali and an extra large water bowl.

 Mimi sure does know how to spoil this little one! She loved the rubber ducks!!!

 She shared her little pool for a while with Zizi but eventually started pushing her out saying 'no no out!' Bratty but funny!

 This is after many attempts to keep the dogs from jumping in the big pool-dogs won as usual!

 Blakely for one got a kick out of it though! She loves her pups!

 Cali kept putting her entire head under water. It was hilarious!

 Here we have Momma Nikky loving on some Parker. I know I mentioned it before in his 2 month post but I cannot say enough how thankful I am to have a SLEEPING baby! It is sooooo nice to have him napping throughout the day and SLEEPING AT NIGHT! This one here (Nikky) is such a baby whisperer. She got him so relaxed on Friday that he wet her entire shirt while he was sleeping!

 We love you Nikky!

The ZOO

Tuesday we all headed to the zoo! This was Blakely's first adventure as a two year old. Tear...

 For the first time we made it to the sea lion show. Blakely loved it!

 She kept saying 'sea lion' all day after getting to see them! I think she has a new favorite animal!

 Then we stopped by the kangaroos.

 Off to the giraffes! I can't wait for the new giraffe exhibit.
