An afternoon outside!

Blakely sure did enjoy lounging in her wagon and soaking in some rays this Saturday afternoon. She has been really feeling terrible & some sunshine seemed to have really helped, little did I know what nighttime held for us! Yesterday was Allison's 30th birthday and we had intended on getting together with the rest of the family for dinner, cake and presents...Blakely had something else in mind! Let's just say we didn't get to eat with the family & no strawberry cake from Edgers...

Crusin'

We are proud to announce that Blakely is basically running with her dino these days. She entertains herself quite well with her toys (which is so huge for me!) =) Here are a few shots of her playing around our house today!

Happy Birthday Mr. Man

Yesterday was Clint's Birthday & what a birthday it was! We went to lunch, visited the zoo (Blakely's first visit), Clint rode his bike and then we went to dinner at the Cheesecake factory while my mom watched Blakely for us! Cake and presents ended the day back home. Here are some pictures of our full day!

Sweet Sophia

We got to play with Sophia today! (This is our sweet neighbor from across the street) She is exactly one month older than Blakely so we get the privilege of seeing what Blakely will be like in the future. It is so much fun letting them play together. We are lucky to have them so close in age!

Today was absolutely perfect. The sun, the cool breeze, everything about spring is just so calming. We got some great shots at the playground too!

Lunch at Memaw's House

Today was such a great day! We went on over to Memaw's for a little visit.  We were so glad to get to see Uncle Brian, who came in town for Clint's birthday! Blakely loved every second of it. Memaw let her play with some Easter eggs which totally entertained her for most of our visit!

Story Time!

I was so proud of myself for capturing this moment. I feel like there are so many of these great & simple moments that just slip through time & are never remembered. Clint decided to read to Blakely today and she loved every second of it! Move over Mom-we've got a new guy in town!!!

These two love each other so much. I am so blessed.
