This month was our first look at what no preschool would look like. I've had so many mixed thoughts about taking B out this year…Really it has been great though. I've just got to get us into a good routine! I'm trying to balance too much (as usual) and feeling overwhelmed most days. I do love having her home though! This year will flash by and then my sweet little baby will be in big girl school for the next 14 + years =(
We've tried to see our friends Elizabeth and Charlie at least once a week!
These two play together SO WONDERFULLY! They are quite entertaining to watch!
Clint was gone quite a bit this month and poor Zizi got confused if I was talking to him on the phone. She waited for him just like this most days he was gone!
I never tire from looking at that sweet face.
This silly girl has been sorta hard to teach. She just does not want to learn from Momma. I think we are finally doing better, maybe…She knows now more than she did at the beginning of the month =)
ABC fun!
I have to put in here for personal records: Parker knows the entire alphabet…recognition wise. One random day he was going through an ABC book and I realized that he was accurate on most of the letters. We worked on it just a bit and now he has them down! **Funny side note-Parker is hilarious when saying the letter "L". He rolls his tongue and keeps on saying the l sound for quite some time. Now, sister asks for Park to teach her!
One of the successful crafts (which lasted approximately 1 hour before being destroyed). It is a puppet. Blakely, however kept telling me it is a bunny…R is for Bunny.Fail.
Statue Blakely. She has such a huge fun personality! She loves to pretend she is a statue or picture and nobody can see her.
*Side note, we went to Gatlinburg the last week of September and HAD A BLAST!!! I somehow walked away with 2 pictures (and not the scenic/beautiful kind)…They are the two below.
Complete fail on my part!
Old man pose.
Sweet friends.
I've heard on multiple occasions this month how much Blakley loves her brother. She actually cries when he takes a nap and tells me that she just misses him so much! I'm totally aware that this is probably not going to be the case for long, so for now I'm just soaking in every minute of their sweet friendship!
I love this spunky, hyper, sweet and 'spicy' little 4 year old.
*she loves the word spicy and uses it for so many things. Dad's facial hair is spicy. Swinging in the swing too high is spicy. Cupcakes are sometimes too spicy.
Some other funny things I don't want to ever forget are when she asks if I'm 'realing' or 'tending'. She came about this all on her own…yet another Blakelyism.
