Happy Birthday Mimi!

It was a big celebration for Mimi Saturday! We had so much fun celebrating! We put the above pics in a frame for her special day! We also gave a jar full of reasons we love our amazing Mimi!

 I'm not quite sure why I didn't capture more pictures of that day or the decorations or the people-but I somehow only ended up with these...

Valentine's 2013

Blakely was so excited to have a 'pawty' at school for Valentines. It is really fun to hear her get excited about holidays lately! These were her valentines:

Lately, we have been "just hanging out" as Blakely likes to say. I hear that phrase all day long! "whacha doin" (to whomever she is playing with at the time) & then answers on behalf of the thing "just hangin' out" 

 Miss Blakely dressing herself...I wonder what her favorite color is?

 At the zoo-you cannot tell because I forced her to wear her jacket, but she is wearing pink leggings, pink shoes, a pink tutu, a pink shirt, and a pink necklace & said (and I quote) "No Momma, pink is better, I wear pink do-day" to EVERYTHING I tried to make her wear.

 sleeping in her crocks?? I put her to sleep without any shoes-go figure.

 Our newest obsession-wearing mommy's shoes. She has now claimed all of my shoes and gets mad at me when I try to wear them...

10 Months Old

10 Months old...and a couple of weeks...

So much has happened this month! For starters our little boy said his first word-aside from Mamma on the 18th. He said Zizi while he was playing with Zizi! I was SO excited!!! I called Clint who was on his way home and as soon as he walked in the door he said it again! 

Second, we are now mobile! I wouldn't say he is crawling...more like scooting backwards/rolling from back to stomach until he gets where he wants to be. 

 A new tooth has come in just recently (the one next to the bottom right).

He weighed 26 pounds based on our inaccurate home scale.

We are still in size 4 diapers and running through them each day sometimes in the double digits...

I try to get him to eat breakfast each morning...complete fail. This boy does not like oatmeal, grits, or cheerios) so after a while I just decided to stick with puffs.

 He is eating 3, 8 oz bottles at 6, 12, and 7 along with 2, 6oz sippy cup snacks at 10 & 3

 I would say it is safe to say that he loves his sister the most though! 

 Parker, you are my heart in every way possible-oh how I love you my little buddy! Your laugh is contagious, your smile is heart warming, and you bring such an enormous peace to my life! You are my little angel and I am so so so very thankful for you and all the joy and completion you bring our family. Thank you for being such a wonderful baby! I love you, I love you, I love you! Happy 10 month old birthday my little mr. man!
