Just for documentation purposes I thought I would mention that my entire family got the stomach flu the day after Christmas-mom, dad, allison, jay, elle, and gray. Blakely got it 3 days later and then I got it the day we closed on our house! (about 3 hours after to be exact) SO packing was left undone and I was of no help in the move!
Blakely has been slow to warm up to the idea of losing 'her house'. She 'don't like the new house!" Every day I think we are finally getting better and then at some point she will tell me that...I'm sure as soon as she can play outside in an actual yard she will be fine =)
Parker has been a terrible sleeper since the move. He has woken up throughout each night at a minimum of 4 times during the night and wakes up every morning around 5.........not sure what is going on here but I have tried everything! I read online that some babies have sleep regression around 9 months so I guess that is the culprit. I'm ready to get some sleep though and I'm sure he is too!
All in all we are SUPER excited to be here and deeply soaking in our huge yard and beautiful screened in porch!

ReplyDeleteYour situation sounds like ours when we moved! AR was 2 1/2 and Westin was 11 months. AR was so upset that she had to leave her old room and refused to call it her house. She did get over it within a few weeks and now she has very little recollection of our old house. Westin didn't adjust to his new room and slept very little the first few weeks after we moved in. I was so beside myself. I feel ya friend.
