Our First Birthday Party!!!

THE BIG DAY!

What a great day it was today! Clint took off work so we could all enjoy Blakely's big day. We got to grab lunch at Momma G's with Mimi & then came home for a big nap & a yummy cupcake. Kaki got to spend some quality time with the birthday girl too while Clint & I ran some errands. See for yourself!

Looking Back...

Here she is...the birthday girl! Just wanted to give everyone a quicky look of the past 12 months! 

12 Months Old!

I cannot believe we are here...One year ago today I was at work, huge & leaving early to go to what would be my last Doctor's appointment. Dr. Sharp admitted me into the hospital around 6:00 that night.

Weight: 22 lbs 9.4 oz

Mo. Clothes: 18 Months

Naps/Sleeping Habits: Basically the exact same as at 11 months

Eats: Everything we eat! I pretty much just share meals with her. Loves cheese grits, yogurt, cheese, sweet potatoes, toast, pizza

Likes: 'Raffe' (she will nuzzle her head into him & lie down), Dino the walker dinosaur, her paci, Zizi, dominos & watching other little babies

Dislikes: We are starting to not love baths (I never thought this would be a problem since she LOVED them just a month ago...) Cold/room temp milk, being in the car, when we make her stand & she doesn't want to & trying to get her to walk.

Some really great milestones have happened this month! We took our first step last Monday. We stopped using formula yesterday! We have phased out the use of her paci except for naps and bedtime. She now can say hi (more like Iiiii) , momma, daaaaD, (emphasis on the ending 'D'), mimi, & zizi (kinda...). She is now waving at random times (not goodbye) just at pictures and stuff, also waves both hands up and down when excited. 

We are so excited about her birthday party coming on Saturday! 

Flowers

I know this post is random in the midst of my child turing one, but I have to share photos of my first flowers to bloom this year. Look at my beautiful daylily:

Mom uprooted 4 daylilies last year & boy are they happy in my front yard. I am so proud to see them so healthy! (Last year I killed almost everything...)
