There were so many pictures taken during this month that I just wanted to have documented. It displays our daily life pretty accurately. Our life is pretty random these days. The kids make messes daily. I clean and while I'm cleaning, they are messing. They are creative. They are imaginative. They love. They fight. They are considerate and they are super selfish. They feel exhausted from the long days and fight going to sleep each night. They love sleeping in the same room and some nights will laugh and talk for hours until Clint and I separate them. Other nights they fight and tattle constantly. There is really no consistency in our family right now. We aren't sure how to discipline any of our children--and it's pretty evident. B with her sensory stuff, P with his ASD and AK in her age...it's just fuzzy. We do the best we can do as parents, I can say that!
Below we have an example of creativity of B girl. She loves her animals. I have heard often that she is an 'animal expert'. One day I took the bird away in attempt to discipline and she literally cried and acted as though I was giving Zizi away.
Here we are outside of Target with a dollar he had earned. I'm pretty sure he ended up with a $20 transformer...
Daddy took B girl on her bike on a flat trail. She loved it!!!
playing pretend with her dolphin who is taking her around the house (ocean) and also food and a cash register to sell the food to those who might need a portable grocery store!
Sunday best thanks to HK.
Always up for a little resting!
Thanks to Mom, we have about a zillion old dance costumes to play dress up in!
First time meeting Brian's new girlfriend Sarah...Right before AK got her finger stuck in the Urban Cookhouse door...That fingernail is now gone and she is growing a new one!
Still crazy to me that they are BOTH in big school!
Look who joined B's gymnastics class!!!
They might be a little too involved with the car's dvd system.
oh God's beautiful flowers and butterflies!!!
Rest, rest, rest. School is EXHAUSTING!
This rest mat of his is by far his favorite part of K. HE LOVES bringing it home each Friday!!!
Teacher gifts are so fun! This was a little 'happy' for color week!
We found Shine at Costco!!!
and then collapsed when we got home!
B playing Shimmer and Shine with AK on a 'Magic carpet'
my kiddos get more entertainment from a box than anything else!
When learning about the letter F, they were asked to draw a pic of when Parker was hurt. He said "oh this was when I almost died at chick-fil-a, you know and I had my cast. i know I'm an upside down f, but it just works."
Playing again!
Bday parties are the best!!!
This is how I left her before heading to the bathroom
and what I returned to see...
One on one time is so fun!
Creative little monster.
working so hard!
and doing what she does best...acting silly...
Modeling some new clothes!!!
Publix trips are always a little more interesting with this one.
She's all good and quiet when she has her cookie!
and then the chaos usually hits. She is totally and completely an independent little person. She knows what she wants and will do pretty much anything to get it. yikes.
I think I probably average about $20 extra when taking the kids with me to stores.
That's it for August!!!
